A LITTLE BIT
about me

Before becoming a wedding photographer I had years of working in Customer Service. While I loved working with people, the job was becoming repetitive and didn’t allow me the chance to be creative. Being a wedding photographer allows me to create beautiful images, have the fun of experiencing various different types of weddings and means I get to work with people on the happiest days of their lives. Photography has always been a passion of mine and I am so proud of how hard I worked to make my dream job a reality!
I live in Buckinghamshire with my husband and our little Pug, Milo. We had a covid-style wedding that was postponed twice! Up until 3 days before we still weren’t sure if our wedding was going to go ahead. So trust me- I get how stressful weddings can be! But all the stress is honestly worth it when you get to marry the love of your life, surrounded by all your family and friends.
HEY, I’M SHAUNA!
THANKS FOR WANTING TO FIND OUT MORE
If you’re looking for natural, relaxed and romantic photographs from a photographer that is reliable and trustworthy then you’ve found me!
I’ll be so much more than just your photographer; I’ll help make sure the day runs smoothly, hold your veil & flowers, and fit right in with your friends & family.
My favourite part about being a wedding photographer is that it’s like being in a real life rom-com! It’s so fun getting to witness your love story right in front of me. And just like every rom-com I’ll try not to cry (happy tears) at the emotional bits (usually the speeches).

STYLE OF MY PHOTOGRAPHY
I have a very relaxed approach to taking my photographs and try to blend in as much as I can to the background in order to get all those natural and candid shots of you and your having a great time.
While my packages include different hours of coverage, I am usually able to cover your whole day from bridal prep in the morning through to the first dance. I will capture all the important moments of your day as well as the finer details (e.g decor and dress) that will help tell the story of your wedding day and help you remember every single thing about your day in years to come. I work with my couples to find out what they want to do in terms of couple photos and group photos. I completely get that some people are shy in front of the camera and don’t want to spend too long doing this, whereas other people really want gorgeous portraits of the two of them. My approach to this is not too staged or forced and I aim to get you laughing to get those natural smiles on screen.
I love natural light, especially ‘golden hour’ and my goal is for you to feel confident and happy with your portraits that you’ll want to show them off to your family & friends. I also want you to be able to relive the exact moment and emotion for years to come afterwards.
PROCESS
After you enquire I usually suggest we jump on a zoom call so that you can tell me all about your wedding plans and for you to see whether I am the right photographer for you! I will complete a wedding planning document with you closer to your wedding with the timings of the day and what shots are most important to you. I also ask for a list of group photos that you want so that I can be prepared and tick these off on the day to ensure that you’ve got all the photos you want with the people who are most important to you.
I will also view the venue prior to your wedding day, which you are more than welcome to join me on to give us a chance to meet in person prior to your big day. This is also a good idea because we can decide together where we will do your couple portraits and group photos.
I am available for all my couples throughout the whole process from when you enquire to after your wedding gallery has been delivered. So if you need any advice or have any questions you can send me an email, WhatsApp, or book in a zoom call.
MY FAVOURITE WEDDING STORIES
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing so many amazing weddings, and they’re all memorable in their own way. My favourites are when couples just relax, enjoy their day and have fun! One wedding I photographed had a white bouncy castle and while all the guests were inside the reception room they snuck out to have a little bounce!

There was one wedding where every single supplier was a friend of the couple: the makeup artist, the florist, the cake, the bands.
The couple met when they joined the same choir at 12 years old and so they had a choir (which was all their friends) play during the ceremony. They also had multiple friends that were musicians so about three different bands played throughout the course of the day. It made the day so personal to them and every single guest was so involved with the wedding. It was so much fun!
It was important to one of my couples that I photograph a Persian tradition they had during their ceremony. The bride and groom each dip a pinky into a cup of honey and feed it to each other. This symbolises the idea that the couple will feed each other sweetness as they begin their lives as one.
Another couple had many little details of butterflies which was a special touch to remember their stillborn twins on their day (which happened to be the anniversary) that they wanted to make sure I got photos of. It was a very emotional day but it made me so happy to hear from the couple that I made them feel like their twins were truly there alongside them.
